Enjoyment tour for country lovers

Start at Tierpark Nordhorn towards Süd-Nord-Kanal. Along the way, you can take a first break at the ice cream kiosk "Dat Schleusenhus", at Hotel Heilemann, or at the Stiftscafé in Wietmarschen. The village offers plenty of options for dining and shopping, such as the "Hofladen Heilemann". Continue along the Nord-Süd-Kanal, passing by the historic lock at the "Kleiner Hofladen" until you reach the Bauernmuseum Osterwald and the nearby Erdölmuseum. The route then takes you to Mühlenpark in Veldhausen. Cross the Vechte river and take a break at "Hofcafé Strötker". Cycle on to the Grenzerlebnisstation "Klettergarten" along the border path to Kloster Frenswegen with Klostercafé. Along the Vechte river, you will encounter various artweg-stations until you reach the city center of Nordhorn.
