Cross-country ski trail at Ziegenberg

Easy to moderate cross-country skiing trail with a connection to the connecting trail to Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

Description

The route is very diverse and runs over meadows and through forests, with easy to moderate ascents and descents, in several loops east of Buntenbock.

As an option, the running route can be extended if the connecting trail to Clausthal-Zellerfeld is included. This additional route is easy to run and mostly leads over beautiful mountain meadows. (As an entry point, the parking lot at Schützenplatz in Clausthal can also be chosen)

DSV Premium Trail
This trail is a certified DSV Premium Trail.
Together with municipalities in the western Harz region and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have been promoting the quality development of the trail network in the Harz region in recent years. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic aktiv centers according to international criteria, signposted with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
