VERGER PÉDAGOGIQUE

Open to all and more particularly to schoolchildren, the community educational orchard is an old orchard which extends over more than 3000 m2. Located on the communal area of Jolivet, it is representative of the orchards of Lunévillois, made available to the intermunicipal community by the municipality, it houses about thirty apple trees, pear trees, plum trees, cherry trees, quince trees and walnut trees. The orchards are inseparable from the traditional image of Lunévillois and its market gardening past.
A real educational tool, it also bears witness to a time when production served local needs.
Every year, under the supervision of specialized instructors, several hundred children walk through the "Joli verger" to discover the ordinary biodiversity and the local landscape or culinary heritage.
