Mary Mediatrix of all Graces
Out of gratitude for the preservation during the war and following the example of other hamlets, the residents of the area north of the Ettenseweg decided to erect a chapel.
Adr. De Koning, who also gave up the land, and C. Bastiaansen collected money. The proceeds were almost 800 guilders. The residents themselves carry out the excavation work and took care of the planting. Construction started at the end of 1947, but the winter stopped the work for three months. On Sunday, May 30, 1948, the chapel was consecrated and consecrated to Mary Mediatrix of All Graces by Pastor Van Oosterhout.
