Wéris: all Dolmens, Menhirs, legend stones and sights in one walk

This route aims to visit all the sights around Wéris in one walk .

Start at the parking of the Dolmen of Wéris just outside Wéris, with the intention to arrive halfway in Wéris. This offers the opportunity to take a break in the catering industry. Those who want can make a wonderful day trip including a visit to the megalith museum.

But of course you can also start in Wéris, where there is parking and public transport.

There are a number of dolmens and menhirs in and around the valley in which Wéris is located. The different megaliths in the area would form different alignments with each other that are parallel to each other. Some 5,000 years ago, in the late Neolithic (late New Stone Age), people from a group of the Seine-Oise-Marne culture (SOM) erected the dolmens here.

In addition to the megaliths, there are a number of remarkable stones in the area to which legends are linked. They are associated with the megaliths ( Pierre Haina is called the white menhir) but are purely natural phenomena, not man-made structures like the megaliths.

In addition, there are a few places of interest in the area, such as the Harry Potter house 'Maison Hary Cot'.
