Departure from the parking lot in Wezemaal.
Immediately you dive into the forest and get acquainted with the Wijngaardberg with a Devil's Pit (iron sandstone quarry) with stunning colors. Once through the forest, you continue through orchards with an impressive wall above (which served in the 1800s as protection for the vineyards against the northern wind).
You will still be able to spot this wall in the distance during the walk.
Next, it goes from nature reserve to nature reserve....peace ++++
Upon arrival, you can enjoy a refreshing drink in a nice beverage establishment just behind the church...and for those with a sweet tooth, there is also a chocolate shop diagonally across from the inn!
