This beautiful route takes you around Brakel in the Flemish Ardennes.

We ride over rolling hills, past wooded slopes, winding brooks, and picturesque valleys.

From the hilltops, you often have a panoramic view of the landscape.

This green loop takes you through the Everbeek forests, with the beautiful Hayesbos, the Kollebroeken, and an adventurous trip through the Trimpontbos. Here you can enjoy a nice stop at riding school De Paardenbloem.

We then quickly hop over the language border, Flobecq, the Livierenbos. You can enjoy the serene beauty of this forest, surrounded by ancient trees.

Along the way, you'll surely find a perfect spot to enjoy a picnic.

We gallop further along the Brakelbos, then continue towards Zegelsem along some challenging farmland roads and the climb of the notorious IJskelderweg.

Via some beautiful rural roads in the vicinity of the Burreken nature reserve, we gently return to our starting point.
