We did this hike in May 2024 just after the heavy rainfalls. It is a shortened version of "Adventurous hike through the valley of the Ourthe over the rocks of Le Herou", but in the reverse direction.
On the way, there is a lot of variety and a beautiful viewpoint at the 3.5 km mark, which is ideal for a picnic. Right after that are the remnants of a Celtic camp (Le Cheslé).
After rainfalls, the paths can be slippery, and sometimes you have to climb over a watercourse. Along the Ourthe, there was a difficult passage where fortunately a rope was hanging for some support.
