This purple loop of over 37 km connects to other mountain biking routes in the National Park and passes by the trail park.

The Trailpark Klaverberg is located in the Thorpark area in the northwestern part of the Hoge Kempen National Park. On the slope of one of the spoil tips from the Waterschei mine, a course of technical trails has been developed together with Genkertrails.
The park is owned by the Agency for Nature and Forest.

The slopes and terrain are very steep, contain quite a lot of debris with stones, and thus also pose risks, especially for less experienced mountain bikers. At both ends of the wooded slope and in the middle of the spoil tip, you make the climb. At the plateau at the top, you can ride in both directions and choose your descent. You will find jumps, drop-offs, and a rock garden there. The 7 trails have colors similar to those of ski slopes: black is difficult and very steep, red is somewhat less difficult, and blue is average. Additionally, you will find a technical loop (Biketrail) of over 4 km with a blue icon.

The name trail park indicates that all obstacles and elements are native to the terrain and are not artificially constructed like in a bike park.
