About the Hagelandse Heuvels

Between the cities of Leuven and Aarschot lies a particularly attractive hilly landscape, the Hageland. Hiking in this region introduces you to numerous varied landscapes, such as flat fields, rolling hills and lush forests, but also to the traditional way of life of the farmers here. Here you will still find many farms that have preserved their old characteristics. The hiking trails run right next to the yards so you can enjoy the sounds and smells of the animals. You still feel like you're in the '60s.
