The Sonian Forest has been a beautiful place for years, where hikers and joggers can be active in a peaceful and natural environment.
The two new permanently marked running routes start and end at the Bosmuseum Jan van Ruusbroec (Duboislaan 2, 1560 Hoeilaart). The green loop of 6 km and the blue loop of 11.7 km offer beautiful paths through the Sonian Forest.
The 99% unpaved paths lead joggers through the green lung of Brussels. The Sonian Forest stimulates the imagination, is a true hotspot of biodiversity, a cathedral of tall beeches, and offers a wide range of recreational activities.
