The Moeren bike route

The Moeren route takes you through a very diverse landscape. You pass the flat polders where the soil is heavy and clayey. The Houtland is hilly and covered with shrubs and trees. The 3,000-hectare agricultural area of De Moeren is then the lowest point in Belgium. Your bike tour starts in Beauvoorde and then runs along charming villages such as Izenberge, Gijverinkhove, Leisele, and Houtem. You will discover castles, atmospheric village squares, mills, and old farms. Did you know: The Moeren are located directly below the coastline, at the French border.
