Rastow is a municipality in the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is administered by the Ludwigslust-Land office, which is based in the city of Ludwigslust, not belonging to the office.
The municipality of Rastow is located about 20 kilometers south of Schwerin on the edge of the Lewitz landscape protection area. The Kraaker Mühlenbach, the Streubach that flows into it, and some drainage ditches run through the municipality. Among the few standing waters is the artificially created Kraaker Kiessee. The highest elevation within the municipality is the Mühlenberg at 56 m above sea level, east of the village of Rastow.
