In Cochem, life is a bit different, as who doesn't know this busy tourist spot? Cochem is a place that invites longer stays. You will find steep vineyards, forested hills, castles, and a charming little town. Park your motorcycle at Endertplatz and then enjoy a coffee along the Mosel promenade. Around the Endertor, it is always a celebration with balloon sales, wine tasting, stalls, and many motorcycles. The Endertor is one of the three well-preserved city gates. There, you will find a guardhouse, city prison, and several narrow shopping streets surrounding a beautiful market. At the front, you can see the Pinnerkreuz high above, which you can reach by chair lift and a short walk. From there, you have a beautiful view over the Moselle Valley, the city, and the pride of Cochem, the Reichsburg from 900. If you walk across the Moselbrücke, you will arrive in the district of Cond, the oldest part of Cochem dating back to 694. There, you will also find beautiful old buildings and cozy little hotels and restaurants.
