Thézan-des-Corbières is a French commune located in the east of the Aude department in the Occitanie region. Historically and culturally, the commune is part of the Corbières massif, a limestone chaos forming the transition between the Massif Central and the Pyrenees. Exposed to a Mediterranean climate, it is drained by the Aussou, the Donos stream, the Prade stream, the Saint-Estève stream, and various other small watercourses. The commune has remarkable natural heritage: a Natura 2000 site and six areas of natural ecological, faunal, and floral interest.
