Sciacca's historian and theologian, Mario Ciaccio , wrote that this palace stood next to the Porta di Mare facing south, outside the city walls.
It was built by Onofrio Cubici in the 15th century with three crenellated towers , according to some to adapt his family's coat of arms, which featured three towers on a blue field. The Cubici family, in the case of Sciacca next to the Perollo, was a very noble family and in 1542 Baldassare Tagliavia and Diana Cubici were married by contract. Many children were born from this marriage, including GianCalogero Tagliavia Cubici, who became a knight of Santo Stefano in Florence.
It was called the Ramingaddu Palace by the people after it passed from the Cubici family to the Inveges, barons of Rabingallo.
