Welcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten. The detour Segietere is a very varied walking route of approximately 5 KM through and around Sint Geertruid.

This experience walk introduces you to various recreational, landscape and cultural-historical objects. You will also get to know and enjoy all the goodies for which the outskirts of the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten are known as 'the fruitiest municipality in the Netherlands'.

The route 'Ommetje Segietere' is signposted with white walking posts. This route can be walked in two directions. It is a typical South Limburg route with many height differences and also beautiful views.

In Sint Geertruid there are plenty of catering establishments for a nice cup of coffee. You can also easily park there.
