The hiking trail takes you over a distance of 31 kilometers through a wonderful area in the heart of the province of Utrecht. Since hiking opportunities in this region were limited, the province launched this project in 2003. This has led to a new continuous route along the Kromme Rijn.
Thanks to the partners in this project: Hochheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden, Municipality of Utrecht, Bunnik, Wijk bij Duurstede, Leisure Central Netherlands and the participants in the RAK Kromme Rijn landscape design project.
