A walk of 11 km, through the low bogs of the Vechtplassen area located around Kortenhoef. You walk partly between the Loosdrechtse and Kortenhoefse Plassen, through and along vibrating peat areas. You can encounter all kinds of rare birds such as kingfishers, purple heron and osprey. An encounter with roe deer and foxes is also possible.

You walk on grassy paths along the Kortenhoefse Plassen (Oppad) and the Loosdrechtse Plassen (Kromme Rade), with both wide views over the lakes and intimate swamp forests. These old church paths used to be used by people to go to church. The Oppad is part of the Long Distance Walk from Muiden to Bergen op Zoom, the Floris-V-pad. The paths are unpaved and can often be very soggy. Waterproof walking shoes or boots are therefore recommended.
