The Musée communal de Huy is housed in the beautiful monastery of the Frères-Mineurs, which was almost completely rebuilt in the Mosan style in the 17th century.
The museum covers all activities of the inhabitants of Huy from prehistory to the present . The museum focuses mainly on the Fine and Decorative Arts and also exhibits archaeological, ethnographic and industrial objects. The museum consists of ten rooms that were completely renovated between 2002 and 2010.
One of the city's most emblematic objects is the Beau Dieu of Huy , a crucifix made around 1240 by an anonymous artist from the Mose region
