BUBBLE TOUR Hiking in the Faluintjes region

The four boroughs of Baardegem, Herdersem, Meldert and Moorsel are almost the 'green lung' of Aalst. Between the abbey Affligem and the water castle of Moorsel is the nature area 'De Faluintjes'. Your walk starts at the monumental church and the beautifully landscaped village square with the Hop monument. You walk into the Faluintjes to visit the beautiful Kravaalbos for a while. Towards the end you learn a bit more about the hop field where you can relax (the hop field is not on the shortening)

Departure: Dorp 4, Meldert (Aalst)

Car and bicycle parking: there is plenty of parking for the car on the side of the road. You can safely park your bike next to junction 40, the starting point of the walks directly opposite the Hop monument.

Distance: 9.2 km of which 90% cross country roads

Shortening: 7.8 km

Buggies can go on the shortening, but will need help on some pieces.
