Ronda is a Spanish municipality and city that belongs to Andalusia and is located in the northwest of the province of Malaga . It is the head of the Judicial Party of the same name and the capital of the Serranía de Ronda region.
In 2018, it had a population of 33,978 inhabitants , making it the second most populous inland municipality in the province after Antequera. The commune extends over a plateau known as the Ronda Valley due to the mountains that surround it. It has an area of 397.62 km² and a population density of 86.18 inhabitants/km².
