Chauffour-sur-Vell is a French commune in the department of Corrèze in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region on the western edge of the Massif Central. It belongs to the Arrondissement of Brive-la-Gaillarde and the Canton of Midi Corrézien. The inhabitants are called Chauffourmais.
Tulle, the prefecture of the department, is located about 42 kilometers to the north, Brive-la-Gaillarde approximately 25 kilometers to the northwest, and Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne around 25 kilometers to the southeast. Neighboring communes of Chauffour-sur-Vell are Meyssac to the north, Saint-Julien-Maumont to the northeast, Branceilles to the east, Les Quatre-Routes-du-Lot to the south, Saillac to the west, and Collonges-la-Rouge to the northwest.
