Steinheim is a village in the commune of Rosport in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. According to the 2001 census, Steinheim had 532 inhabitants.

Nice local walk that starts in the large car park of the 'Steinheim' fire station. After crossing the N10, this route first follows a short exploration through Steinheim. The hiker is given a brief overview of the Sûre, who then returns to the N10 through alleys.

After crossing the N10 again, a difficult climb awaits you. This will take you along the German-Luxembourg Rock Trail. Rocks are rock formations and they come in all shapes and sizes. It is not for nothing that this region is called "Little Switzerland".

After all the puffs and sweating, you will arrive at a plateau where you are entitled to a beautiful 360° view. The plateau is crisscrossed by muddy paths and left by a paved road that leads the hiker to the nearest forest. Meanwhile, you guessed it, beautiful views of the surrounding area. Once you're in the forest, you can count on beautiful rock formations.

Almost at the end of this walk, we had to deviate from the signage due to road works. The route is recorded as we did it. Of course, you can still follow the signs "R8".
