Through the Compagnons forests, along tower de Zeven, through the Fochteloërveen and via bike and sandy paths through the woods, before returning to Ravenswoud. A beautiful walk of about 15 kilometers. So wear good walking shoes!

Through forest and bog
From the village house of Ravenwoud, you will venture into unexplored nature on this route. On the border of Drenthe and Friesland lies the special Fochteloërveen. This unique nature reserve offers space for living raised bog and is a beautiful spot for spotting cranes in the right season. During this hiking route, you will discover the characteristic regional landscape and climb to the 18-meter high lookout tower for a wide view of the surroundings.
