At the Khwae Noi's river bank outside Mueang Sing's southern enclosure, four prehistoric human skeletons were found lying straight with their face up. The arrangement of the skeletons is in different directions; some northwest, some southeast. On the site many pieces of artifacts were found. Most of them are the offerings and prehistoric utensils of the dead such as bronze wares, iron instruments, pottery, shell ornaments, stone and crystal beads. Similar prehistoric burial sites are found along the Khwae River, each of them aged around 2000 years. People settled here already before the construction of Prasat Mueang Sing in the 13th century.
