Cycle route - Echt-Susteren - Drielandenroute

By bike through three countries! Cycling from Belgium to Germany and back to the Netherlands in one day. Impossible? Not in the narrowest part of the Netherlands!

This three-country cycle route takes you in about 60 km past monuments, monasteries and picturesque villages in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. Along the way you can enjoy historic cities and nostalgic villages with beautiful views on the banks of the Meuse to charming hamlets, hidden between arable lands and hills.

Another highlight in this route is the visit to the 'new' Westzipfelpunt! The Westzipfelpunt is the westernmost point of Germany that is located in the Selfkant region and borders the narrowest part of the Netherlands.

Along the way, in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, there are enough rest points to enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a tasty lunch. The route can be followed via the bicycle junction system.

Please note: in the winter period, the necessary ferry sometimes wants to be out of service. Please check here before departure.
