L’ancienne église Saint-Étienne est aujourd'hui une église protestante située dans la commune vaudoise de Montcherand, en Suisse.
Une très ancienne église dédiée à Saint-Étienne était au Xe siècle le sanctuaire d'un prieuré dépendant de Payerne. L'église actuelle, romane, pourrait remonter en partie au XIe siècle. Elle constitue une étape des pèlerins de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. Devenue protestante à la Réforme en 1536, l'église devient paroissiale, puis est successivement rattachée aux paroisses d'Orbe en 1662, de Rances en 1846, de Lignerolle en 1931, et de Ballaigues-Lignerolle en 2000.
