Norton Malreward ist ein kleines Dorf und eine Gemeinde in Somerset, 4 Meilen südlich von Bristol, England, am nördlichen Rand des Chew-Valley. Im Jahr 1895 wurde Norton Malreward mit dem benachbarten Weiler Norton Hawkfield zu einer einzigen Gemeinde zusammengelegt, die eine Bevölkerung von 246 hat.
Norton Malreward ist im Domesday Book von 1086 als Nortone verzeichnet, was 'die nordliche Umzäunung' bedeutet. Malreward ist eine Verfälschung des normannischen Nachnamens Malregard, der einem Pachtnehmer des Bischofs von Coutances im Jahr 1238 gehörte. Während der Herrschaft von Edward I. wurde das Gut von John Le Sore von Backwell gehalten. Spätere Herren des Gutes waren Hawisia de Burton, John de Burton, Robert Grayndor, Robert Basset und Sir William Basset. Im Jahr 1701 wurde das Gut an Richard Holder verkauft und 1718 erneut an Francis Freeman und Samuel Prigg verkauft.
