Naar Reil berijdt u de Reiler Hals en van grote hoogte stort de asfaltslinger het 1000 jaar oude wijndorp binnen. U toert er door schilderachtige straatjes met oude vakwerkhuizen en moet beslist even stoppen bij het raadhuis uit 1585. Stoppen om een flesje Heisser Stein te kopen is natuurlijk in Reil ook mogelijk.
Bij het station heeft u het Weinlehrpfad, welke u alles over deze wijnsoort kan vertellen. De omgeving is ook erg geschikt voor een vrije wandeling, u krijgt er op niet verwachte punten de mooiste uitzichten voor de ogen getoverd.
