Stadsarchief en Athenaeumbibliotheek 'Het Klooster' In panden die vroeger toebehoorden aan een klooster is het historische archief van de stad Deventer ondergebracht en is tevens de Athenaeumbibliotheek gevestigd. De Athenaeumbibliotheek bezit ca. 250.000 boeken waarvan het grootste deel is opgesteld in magazijnen die voor de bibliotheekgebruiker niet direct toegankelijk zijn. Tevens beschikt de bibliotheek over een aantal bijzondere deelcollecties.
