Die Kirche von Sarratt wurde im Film Vier Hochzeiten und ein Todesfall vorgestellt. In den Romanen von John le Carré war Sarratt der fiktive Standort einer wichtigen Einrichtung des britischen Geheimdienstes.
Der Fluss Chess fließt durch das Dorf. Die Feuerstein- und Backsteinkirche vom Heiligen Kreuz wurde 1190 im Weiler Sarratt gegründet. Ab dem 17. Jahrhundert entwickelte sich fast eine Meile entfernt ein großes lineares Dorf, das als Sarratt Green bekannt ist. Es wird jetzt einfach Sarratt genannt und der ursprüngliche Weiler ist jetzt als Church End bekannt.
