Dit kasteel werd vanaf 1300 in 5 etappes gebouwd. Men kan er de middeleeuwse portaal-donjon bewonderen, wat een verdedigings- en afschrikmiddel was. Het tweede deel van het kasteel werd in de XVIde en XVIIde eeuw opgetrokken. Toen werd het gebied een woon- en prestigeverblijf.
