The Peereboomhuis was named after the residents of the 19th century, namely the Van den Peereboom family. It was built in 1726 and is the oldest house in Ledegem. It has been protected as a monument since 1974, and the garden is a classified landscape. A sundial has been placed against the southern façade. On the living wall, we see slates with the lily insignia, characteristic of French rule.
