Originally called Wat Chong Klang, it was built at the same period as Wat Jom Sawan. Wat Sa Bo Kaeo is a Burmese-style temple, where its attractions include the sermon hall, ordination hall, pagoda and marble bejewelled image of the Buddha in the Burmese style. It is also a residence of Burmese monks travelling to Thailand to study the Buddhist scriptures.
