C&C Blyth - Alnmouth
De 320 kilometer lange Coast & Castles Cycle Route verbindt de Forth and Tyne estuaria's en loopt door een gebied met een groot gedeelte van de best bewaarde gebouwen en kastelen van Groot-Brittannië. Beginnend in Newcastle, passeert het de Hadrain's Wall die is uitgeroepen tot wereld erfgoed, alvorens af te buigen langs de onbeschadigde kustlijn en de mooie steden van de Tweed Vallei, om daarna de hoofdstad van Schotland Edinburgh te bereiken.
