L'Autòdrom de Terramar, construït l'any 1923 i situat en el terme municipal de Sant Pere de Ribes, fou un dels primers autòdroms del món. En el moment de la seva construcció, Europa només disposava de dos autòdroms, el de Brooklands i el de Monza, i als Estats Units només hi havia el d'Indianapolis. És, per tant, la quarta pista més antiga del món després de les de Brooklands , Indianapolis i Monza , Així també va ser el primer circuit de l'Espanya i el tercer d'Europa. En aquest circuit s'hi va celebrar el Primer Gran Premi Internacional a Espanya, celebrat el mateix 1923 com a part dels actes inaugurals del circuit. Aquesta cursa la va guanyar Alberto Divo al volant d'un Sunbeam.
