Die 1899 eingeweihte neogotische Kirche Saint- Antoine-Ermite in Pepinster ist das Werk des Pfarrers und Schöngeistes Sylvain Balau sowie des Architekten Clément Léonard. Sie ist an den frühgotischen Stil des 13. Jahrhunderts angelehnt. Das von außen sehr schlicht wirkende Gebäude ist in seinem Inneren reich ausgestattet (Triumphkreuz, Gemälde Die Krönung der Jungfrau usw.) – ein Werk der besten Werkstätten und Künstler der damaligen Zeit. Außerdem ist die Kirche aufgrund ihres durchbrochenen Tonnengewölbes bemerkenswert, bei dem Léonard das „Francart-System“ eingesetzt hat: Das Gewölbe besteht aus Metallträgern, in die bemalte Platten aus Terrakotta eingesetzt sind.
