Die an der Maas gelegene, von irischen Mönchen gegründete, alte Stiftskirche aus dem 11. Jh. ist voller Charme.
Man bewundert den mächtigen und massiven Turm, seine schmucklose Architektur und die schöne Umgebung längs des Flusses. Der romanische Stil wird betont durch den Turm, das Schiff mit schönen, viereckigen Pfeilern, auf die sich Rundbögen stützen, das Querschiff und die Krypta. Der Chor ist gotisch (1264).
Im Inneren fallen die Chorstühle und Wandmalereien auf, beide sehr alt aus dem 13. Jh. stammend. Besonders reich ist das Angebot an Statuen, insbesondere mit Werken von Lambert Lombard. Die Krypta enthält merowingische Sarkophage und antike Reliquiare.
