Der Snowdon [ˈsnəʊdən] ist der höchste Berg in Wales. Der Name setzt sich zusammen aus snow für Schnee und don für Berg. Er liegt im Snowdonia-Nationalpark in der Grafschaft Gwynedd im Norden von Wales. Der Gipfel liegt auf 1085 Metern Höhe und heißt auf Walisisch Yr Wyddfa [əɾ 'wɪðva], was „das Grab“ oder „die Gruft“ bedeutet.
