El nuevo puente peatonal sobre la Geierlayschleife en el Hunsrück es el más largo de Europa con sus 360 metros. Cuelga a unos cien metros sobre la garganta y atrae a varios cientos de visitantes cada día. Está a unas buenas 3 horas en coche desde Bruselas. Wanderlust marcó un sendero (11 km) que comienza en el centro de visitantes de Geierlay en Mörsdorf, cruza el puente colgante, luego atraviesa la Geierlayschleife y finalmente regresa a Mörsdorf por la meseta. Mörsdorf y las crestas entre Cochem y Kastellaun también son conocidas por su energía eólica. No se puede mirar al lado de los molinos.
