3 avril 1995. Ce jour là, l'Amandine rentre au port pour la dernière fois et mouillera pour la dernière fois l'ancre. La gorge serrée, l'équipage a débarqué et est rentré au foyer sans se retourner. Ainsi s'est achevée l'histoire de la pêche ostendaise dans les mers d'Islande.
13 ans plus tard, l'Amandine a entamé une nouvelle carrière, une carrière de musée interactif. Il aura fallu deux années de travaille dur et de concentration dans les anciens chantiers navals 'Seghers' pour rendre au bateau toute la gloire de son passé. Mais ça y est. Aujourd'hui, vous pouvez le visiter dans le coeur même de la ville d'Oostende, sur le quai des Pêcheurs rénové
