Il castello di Holzheim, detto anche Painherrnhof, si trova nel quartiere di Holzheim del comune di Leonding nel distretto di Linz-Land.
Holzheim è stato menzionato per la prima volta in documenti nel 1075. I signori di Holzheim furono proprietari fino al 1376, seguiti fino al 1481 dagli Aczpeckh; successivamente, il castello passò in possesso della signoria di Steyregg. Il nome Painherrnhof deriva dalla corte dei fratelli Georg e Wolf Painherr. Questi furono elevati al rango nobiliare dall'imperatore Ferdinando III nel 1648 per i servizi resi. L'ultimo dei Painherrn fu nel 1684 il figlio di Wolf Painherr. Nel 1726 il vecchio castello andò a fuoco e fu costruito un nuovo palazzo barocco.
