Nel 1676, Christophe De le Tenre, parroco della parrocchia di San Martino, fece costruire questa cappella per alleviare l'obbligo del domenica per i credenti che abitavano lontano. Dalla Rivoluzione francese, la cappella fu chiusa. Nel 1922 fu aperta al pubblico e divenne un monumento protetto nel 1947.
