La Haye Sainte er en typisk firkantet Brabantsk gård, der spillede en vigtig rolle under Slaget ved Waterloo den 18. juni 1815. Gården med en central gårdsplads ligger i Lasne, på vejen fra Charleroi til Bruxelles, ved foden af en lille bakke. Vejen fører fra La Belle Alliance gennem centrum af det franske bataljon, til knudepunktet af højderyggen og videre til Bruxelles. Hertugen af Wellington placerede størstedelen af sine tropper på begge sider af vejen bag bakken. Skrænten holdt dem ude af syne for franskmændene.
