Das Kastell Ala Nova ist ein ehemaliges römisches Reiterkastell im österreichischen Abschnitt des oberpannonischen Limes. Es befand sich auf dem Gemeindegebiet von Schwechat, Niederösterreich, wenige Kilometer östlich von Wien. Die Fläche des einstigen Reiterkastells verteilte sich auf das Areal des heutigen Alanovaplatzes, den Friedhof und das Brauereigelände im Stadtteil Klein-Schwechat. Die Stationierung einer mobilen Reitereinheit war strategisch notwendig, um die weite Ebene zwischen Vindobona und Carnuntum entlang der Donau besser zu sichern und im Ernstfall die rasche Intervention zu ermöglichen.
