Die Kantonsschule Küsnacht, ehemals Seminar Küsnacht, ist ein kantonales Gymnasium neusprachlicher und musischer Ausrichtung in Küsnacht im schweizerischen Kanton Zürich. Sie wurde 1832 gegründet und ist die älteste Lehrerbildungsanstalt des Kantons. Im Jahr 2009 wurde die KSK von 516 Schülerinnen und Schülern besucht. Rektor ist seit Juni 2013 Christian Grütter.
Ausserhalb der Stadt Zürich gab es im letzten Viertel des 18. Jahrhunderts kaum Dorfschulen, in denen ordentlicher Unterricht stattfand. Die Lehrer waren oft ungebildete Randfiguren ohne Ausbildung und standen mit ihrem Einkommen, das weniger betrug als dasjenige eines Taglöhners, auf einer der untersten Stufen der sozialen Leiter. Viele Eltern hielten die Schule für überflüssig und behielten die Kinder lieber zuhause, damit sie im Haus oder in der Feldwirtschaft helfen konnten.
