Die USMA ist in einem früheren Fort des US-Heeres am westlichen Ufer des Hudson River in Orange County in West Point untergebracht und befindet sich etwa 80 Kilometer nördlich von New York City. Der Komplex der Akademie nimmt 65 km² in Anspruch.
