El Armisticio del 11 de noviembre de 1918 fue un tratado firmado en Le Francport, cerca de Compiègne, que terminó la lucha en tierra, mar y aire en la Primera Guerra Mundial entre los Aliados y su oponente, el Imperio alemán. Previamente ya se habían acordado armisticios con Bulgaria, el Imperio otomano y el Imperio austrohúngaro. También conocido como el Armisticio de Compiègne por el lugar donde fue firmado a las 5:45 por el mariscal francés Foch,[1] entró en vigor a las 11:00, hora de París, el 11 de noviembre de 1918 y marcó una victoria para los aliados y una derrota para Alemania, aunque no formalmente una rendición.
