Il nuovo ponte pedonale sulla Geierlayschleife nell'Hunsrück è il più lungo d'Europa con i suoi 360 metri. Pende a circa cento metri sopra la gola e attira diverse centinaia di visitatori ogni giorno. Si trova a oltre 3 ore di auto da Bruxelles. La voglia di camminare ha tracciato un percorso (11 km) che inizia al centro visitatori Geierlay a Mörsdorf, attraversa il ponte sospeso, poi traversa la Geierlayschleife e infine ritorna a Mörsdorf attraverso l'altopiano. Mörsdorf e le creste tra Cochem e Kastellaun sono anche conosciute per la loro energia eolica. Non si può non vedere i mulini.
